With a project of this scale there’s a tremendous amount to do.

All skills are welcome but in my experience we really need women who can do joinery, tiling, electrics, plumbing.

Other specialised jobs such as solar installation will be on the job learning curve, so every woman has the opportunity to learn new skills.

Mud workshops tend to be a great deal of fun and it’s really quite amazing what you can build/create with mud.

We also need growers, harvesters, diggers, waterers and women who can preserve food.

Tasks like cooking and cleaning are also vital to keep us all nourished. I would imagine there could be a rota for cooking, washing up and generally keeping the place tidy

Any project like this also needs musicians, story tellers, dancers and artists to entertain and lift our spirits, bringing joy, motivation and bonding to the group

Healers and medicine women too. Massage therapists, other therapists and fire keepers.

You don’t have to haver a specific skill or talent, a willing to muck in attitude goes a very long way and is every bit as important and valued.
